What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is based on the Chinese principle that certain areas on the soles of your feet or hands – containing millions of nerve endings – correspond to other parts of the body. All systems and organs of the whole body are said to be mirrored or reflected in smaller peripheral areas.
‘Reflexology stimulates the body into healing itself by improving circulation, reducing stress, pain and restoring natural balance,’
About Louise
I have been a nurse for the best part of 20 years based in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. I am both an adult and children’s nurse. I have worked for many years on Oncology, Children’s Oncology while I lived in Australia and Adult Oncology here in Ireland.
I have the greatest of respect for conventional medicine and it’s role in our lives. However, I feel there is certainly a place for complementary therapies for maintaining a healthy body and mind also.
I am a qualified reflexologist registered with the National Register of Reflexologist (Ireland). Reflexology has been successful in relieving many acute and chronic conditions, such as insomnia, menstrual problems, migraine, sinusitis, vertigo, asthma, sciatica and many more.
In the field of Oncology an increasing number of consultants are recognising the benefits of this relaxing and calming therapy. It is a safe and natural therapy that helps greatly to relax, balance and provide harmony in the body.
